SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake police on Sunday asked for the public's help in finding a missing 12-year-old. Later that same evening, the boy was found safe.

Vladimir Moss was last seen near 700 N. Redwood Road, police reported. Police were worried about his safety because he is diagnosed with autism.

Late Sunday night, the department announced Vladimir was found safe and returned to his family. "#ThankYou to our wonderful #Community for your help!" the department tweeted.

Details on where Vladimir was were not immediately available.
