THE GOLF COURSE — Golf is perhaps considered an old man sport to some and is riveting and challenging to others, but after watching this video, no one can deny the impressive quality of golf balls.

YouTube channel Crush employs the help of an 8-ton steamroller to crush various objects and make awesome videos of it. In the duo’s latest video, they decided to test the durability of golf balls against the might of the steamroller. I was definitely expecting a cool slow-mo of the golf bursting into tiny bits on camera, but I was totally surprised by the actual result.

Apparently, golf balls have some magical, super high-density rubber core that allows the ball to squish without breaking. The video shows them rolling over the golf balls several times, and while they flatten almost completely to the ground, they don’t break. It took them running over the balls five times before they eventually cracked open.

Watch the video while I go find a golf ball to cut open and examine.
