In case you've been living under a rock, the National Park Service is celebrating their 100th birthday this year. In fact, it was about two weeks ago on Thursday, August 25th. Happy Birthday, guys! You might be thinking "Well, it's come and gone, so why are you yahoos just publishing this article now?" Well, it's cuz the celebrations have been going on all year long and will continue for the rest of 2016, and we wanna be a part of it, so there.
This is big. It's a huge accomplishment. And the National Park Service deserves some kudos. So the next time you see a Park Ranger, give 'em a high five.
If you want to take part in the celebration (and you should), get started with 100 things to do in Bryce Canyon. See if you can tick 'em all of your bucket list. (And don't worry, we'll be doing this for all the parks.)
