SALT LAKE CITY — Summer is winding to a close and it’s graced us with some gorgeous sunsets the last week.
There’s nothing quite like sitting outside watching a brilliantly colored sunset or sunrise, and several of our readers did just that and submitted beautiful photos. One Utahn also captured an incredible lightning strike during a thunderstorm in Vernal.
Various wildfires have continued to burn across Utah, and others sent in photos of the flames and smoke. A local captured footage of a semitrailer that caught fire in Parleys Canyon that backed up traffic on I-80 eastbound.
