IN THE AIR — If you’ve heard one set of landing announcements on a flight, you’ve heard them all, right?
Tell that to attendant Zach Haumesser who recently ran through his impressive array of Looney Tunes impressions on a flight from Salt Lake to Chicago.
Haumesser does all his impressions during the landing announcements, and he doesn’t skip a beat as he jumps from impression to impression. You’ll hear everyone from Bugs Bunny (of course) and Daffy Duck to Foghorn Leghorn and Yosemite Sam. In fact, I’m pretty sure he covered pretty much everyone except Marvin the Martian and Granny.
As Haumesser runs through his spiel about upright seats and peanuts, he even finds time to give a shout out to Utah Valley University’s soccer team who happened to be on the flight.
Looney Tunes impressions aren’t the only entries on Haumesser’s resume. It turns out he’s also puppeteer with his own characters, which you can catch a glimpse of in an old audition reel he recently posted on his Facebook page.
Hopefully I get the Haumesser experience next time I fly and not my usual fare of weird smells and kicked seats.
That’s all, folks!
