SALT LAKE CITY — The Fourth of July was celebrated throughout Utah on Monday with various cities across the state hosting family festivities and fireworks shows.
If you happened to miss the fireworks, several residents snapped gorgeous photos of the displays that you can check out. The pictures remind us that high vantage points are awesome viewing spots for the Salt Lake and Utah Valleys where several big fireworks shows happen simultaneously.
However, some of the fireworks led to fires, and some residents submitted pictures of those as well. A Syracuse family was displaced Monday morning after a fire apparently started by discarded fireworks caused $100,000 damage to their residence.
