SALT LAKE CITY — Three stories from the world of sports in today's From Left Field!

2. Rafael Nadal's tweener winner
Sam Groth, an Australian, is a good tennis player. Nadal, though is a better one. This between-the-legs winner was just another point for Nadal in his 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 win over Groth in the first round of the French Open.

3. Scoring two runs on a walk
Hey, this is clever! In this weekend's regional softball collegiate championships, the Florida Gators scored two runs off of a bases-loaded walk.
Kelsey Stewart for the Gators noticed that UCF pitcher Jamie Ujvari wasn't watching, so she took off after the walk and scored two runs on the simple error of focus.
