HUNTSVILLE — A woman died and Weber County sheriff's deputies detained her husband Sunday after being called to condominium on the shores of Pineview Reservoir.
Deputies responded to Lakeside Village, 6486 E. state Route 39, about 8:40 a.m. and received information that a man had possibly "hurt or killed his wife," according to Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Lane Findlay.
Deputies were initially unable to make contact with anyone in the condo and called in a SWAT team. Officers entered the home just after noon and found the body of a woman, Findlay said.
"It is being treated as a possible homicide at this time," he said.
Authorities detained the woman's 60-year-old husband and consider him a suspect in her death, Findlay said. They didn't provide any details about how or when she died.
The sheriff's office did not release the couple's names.
