POPPINGTON — Have you ever wondered what it would look like destorying 2,000 bullets at once?

Me neither. Well, until I saw the title of this video, "Destroying of 2,000 bullets." How could the promise of an explosive display not pique the curiosity of any red-blooded American? After all, we collectively clamour to watch firework displays every July 4.

The surprising part about the fiery process is it sounds exactly like a bag of popcorn popping in the microwave. So much so, that I caught myself subconsciously starting to count near the end to see if the "popcorn" was done.

The video yields virtually zero information about where, when, how or even why the bullets are destroyed, but it's likely because ammunition can corrode if not stored properly.

Now, excuse me while I hit the vending machine for the microwave popcorn that my ears have been promised.
