THE OCEAN — Let’s skip all the jokes and set-ups on this one. This is a video of a giant lobster. Seriously, this thing is ginormous.

A biologist found this behemoth while free diving off the coast of California and brought it on board his boat. I could sit here and explain all the insane facts about this monstrous crustacean, but the video does a much better job than I could.

Just suffice it to say that the lobster is nearly 12 pounds, was named Albert and looks both terrifying and delicious.

Despite the fact that Albert could have supplied us with the first-ever lobster steak, the biologist made a smart move and released him back into the ocean where he’ll continue to scare off just about everything he comes in contact with.

Check out the video to get all the details on Albert.
