LAS VEGAS — Coming off a big win against the Milwaukee Bucks Monday, the Utah Jazz continued its winning streak Tuesday, beating the Denver Nuggets 87-69.

The Jazz, who trailed by seven points at the end of the first quarter, rallied back in the second quarter on a 48-20 run that extended into the second half.

Center Erik Murphy lead the Jazz with 17 points and nine rebounds in just under 22 minutes of playing time. Guard Ian Clark also added 17 points and three rebounds.

The star of Monday night's game, rookie Rodney Hood, had a quieter night Tuesday, scoring three points on one-of-nine shooting. Rookie Dante Exum added six points of his own.

"With it being summer league, guys are playing so hard and it's not as slow as the regular season game,"said Jazz point guard Trey Burke, who had 11 points and six rebounds. "I'm just trying to play slower, and tell the younger guys like Dante to slow it down."

Overall, the Jazz played a well balanced, team-oriented game, with four players scoring in double figures. A win Wednesday night gave the Jazz the No. 5 seed in the Summer League tournament; they will play the winner of the No. 12-seeded San Antonio Spurs and the No. 21-seeded Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
