Wyo. considers pre-emptive strike on federal gun control

Wyoming lawmakers are considering legislation that would declare any federal law limiting access to semi-automatic weapons or high-capacity magazines unenforceable in that state.

Opinion: Gun laws won't stop violence, but do infringe on 2nd Amendment

Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York called for the nation's toughest gun laws in his State of the State speech on Wednesday night, but promised he didn't want to take hunter's guns. Tough gun laws, though, haven't shown stop gun violence.
