POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — The Pocatello-Chubbuck School District is facing a lawsuit brought by parents who claim certain school fees are unconstitutional.

KIDK-TV reports (http://bit.ly/295k2EX ) that the suit filed Monday in U.S. District Court argues that the district should provide materials, such as paper and pencils, for students at no cost. Attorney Robert Huntley says parents shouldn't have to pay for the materials or fees for classes and extracurricular activities.

The district said Tuesday that it had not yet been served with the lawsuit and was unable to comment.
