CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 5.50 cents higher at $4.5840 a bushel; May corn was 4.25 cents higher at $3.76 bushel; May oats was 2.25 cents higher at $1.83 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 6.50 cents to $10.10 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle was .70 cent higher at $1.2033 a pound; May feeder cattle was .08 cent higher at $1.4803 a pound; May lean hogs lost .28 cent to $.7730 a pound.
