SALINA, Sevier County — A Colorado man is dead and another man was injured after a single vehicle rollover on I-70 early Friday morning.
Police said 21-year-old Jesus T. Parades from Fallbrook, Califronia, was driving a black Chevrolet pickup when the truck left the road and rolled over at about 6:30 a.m., according to Joe Dougherty of the Utah Department of Public Safety.
“The driver ran off the left side of the highway and overcorrected to the right,” Dougherty said.
The passenger — Brennan R. Ching, 20, of Fort Collins, Colorado — was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dougherty said Paredes sustained leg injuries, and he was transported to Sevier Valley Medical Center in nearby Richfield.
Both men were wearing seat belts, according to Dougherty. However, the passenger side sustained the most damage.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
