ST. GEORGE — A woman who allegedly robbed a St. George bank before leading police on a chase across three states has been identified and charged.

Sandeep Kaur, 24, of Riverside, California, admitted to St. George police that she robbed the US Bank at 791 S. Bluff Street on Thursday, July 31, then led police on a chase, according to arrest warrant documents.

Police said the robbery occurred around 5 p.m. when a small-framed woman wearing sunglasses, a dirty surgical mask and a dark, navy blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over her head entered the bank and handed the bank teller a note.

Surveillance images also showed the woman had manicured hands of dark complexion, the documents said.

Court documents say the note demanded the teller provide a large sum of money within two minutes or the robber would shoot the teller. The bank employee complied with the note’s demands, and the woman fled the premises in a dark-colored Nissan with temporary dealer plates.
