MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. — If you have guts of steel and a mild death wish, we have the ride for you.

The "TERROR-dactyl" ride is in Williams Canyon near the Cave of the Winds in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The thrill ride made its big debut this summer and is the first of its kind, according to the website of the adventure park.

The ride sits on the edge of a 200-foot cliff in Williams Canyon where riders are launched and drop while going 50-60 miles per hour. With what looks like a cross between a zip line and a slingshot ride, the TERROR-dactyl looks like it will either make you scream (or in my case), make you sick.

The ride was built by Logan, Utah-based company Soaring Eagle Ziplines and was recently featured on The Today Show, with video of journalist Natalie Morales trying it out. The TERROR-dactyl is open 365 days a year — weather permitting — from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the summer and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the winter months.

If you feeling like a daredevil and think you are up to it, the ride is located only 8.5 hours from Salt Lake City.
