TAYLORSVILLE — Police asked for the public's help in locating two missing 12-year-olds in unrelated investigations Monday night. Unified police later found the boy, but West Valley police are still looking for a girl who didn't come home from school.

Ashley Esquivel was last seen around 3:30 p.m. at the American Preparatory School, 3636 W 3100 South, West Valley Deputy Chief Mike Powell said in a written statement.

Ashley is 5 feet 4 inches tall and has medium-length, black hair. She was last seen wearing her school uniform "which consists of khaki pants, a blue Oxford-style shirt, and a blue button-up, cardigan-style sweater," Powell wrote.

Anyone with information on Ashely's whereabouts is asked to contact West Valley police dispatch at 801-840-4000.

Damion M. Swann, a Taylorsville boy who had been missing since 4 p.m., was found just after 10 p.m. Monday. Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal didn't say where Damion was located, but did confirm the boy was safe and in good condition.

An Endangerd Missing Advisory was issued for Damion after an extensive search by police proved fruitless. Investigators were especially concerned because of Damion's developmental disabilities.
