OGDEN — An ongoing dispute led to two people being stabbed Tuesday.
A woman called 911 at 8:20 a.m. reporting that she and man had both been stabbed, according to Ogden police. Officers found the couple at a residence at 2900 Lincoln Ave. Each had upper body wounds and were transported to a local hospital. Police said the injuries were not life threatening.
"The male victim had a severe laceration on his left forearm," said Ogden Police Lt. Steve Zaccardi. "The cut went all the way down to the bone."
Investigators believe an argument between the victims and Byron Cottrell, 54, started the night before and carried over into Tuesday morning.
"He thought the male had stolen some gloves that he had brought over to the house," Zaccardi said.
Cottrell was located by police and was being questioned Tuesday afternoon.
