LAYTON — Police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a massage therapist at knife point.
Martin William Rodriguez, 18, was arrested for investigation of aggravated sexual assault. About 6:30 p.m. Friday, Rodriguez went to Beijing Asian Massage, 28 N. Main, and asked for a massage, said Layton Police Lt. Shawn Horton.
Once he was alone in a room with a female masseuse, he ordered her at knife point to take her clothes off and started to sexually assault her, Horton said.
When another female employee knocked on the door, Rodriquez was startled long enough for the woman to run out of the room, he said. Other people at the business were able to talk the man into handing over his knife and detained him until police arrived.
