SALT LAKE CITY — The White House Correspondent who led NPR's coverage of Mitt Romney during the primary and general elections will be coming to Salt Lake Community College Monday.
Ari Shapiro will also talk about his experiences with covering the justice department and the White House.
The lecture is part of SLCC's Speakers Bureau Series and will begin at 7 p.m. on Oct. 21. Tickets are free and can be obtained online or at the Grand Theater at 1575 S. State Street, where the event will be held.
Shapiro was also the first person to become a NPR correspondent before age 30 and has traveled abroad to cover stories in countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Africa. Shapiro will take a new post as NPR's London correspondent in January.
His stories have aired on All Things Considered and Morning Edition for NPR.
