SALT LAKE CITY — Halloween is just around the bend, and with it comes a myriad of choices when it comes to fall activities and family fun. A standard family outing this time of year usually includes a trip to the store or a local pumpkin patch to choose soon-to-be Jack O’ Lantern. There’s nothing quite like picking a fresh pumpkin from the vine and hauling it home to carve up.
Many local farms in Utah grown pumpkins all year in preparation for the Halloween season. The majority of farms will pick the pumpkins for visitors to choose at a collective area. For the more adventurous, here is a list of local pumpkin farms for all the you-pick fun a family can handle.
