ST. GEORGE — A woman is recovering after an apparent attempted stabbing late Saturday evening.
Officers with the St. George Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing Saturday at 10 p.m. at about 500 East and 300 South.
When police arrived on scene, they found a woman outside the residence with multiple cuts and stab marks on her face, arms and hands.
Jonathan Corona, 29, was located inside the residence and booked into jail on suspicion of domestic violence aggravated assault.
Corona and the victim currently live together, according to police. The woman was treated at Dixie Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
