OGDEN — This week's Wednesday's Child doesn't have any shortage of enthusiasm or sense of humor.
Thomas is an outgoing kid — a 16-year-old high school sophomore who loves to play video games and be outside.
But it's inside a tunnel of powerful air where Thomas really got a natural high. He recently tried out his skydiving skills in the wind tunnel at iFly in Ogden.
Thomas thrives on interaction. He has a spry sense of humor, as well as some surprise skills in the kitchen. His favorite food, he said, is "anything Asian."
Grade: 10th
Interests: Hunting, dancing, Scouting
Special needs: Thomas is a hard worker and does well in school. He attends counseling, which will need to continue after placement.
However, there's a big piece of Thomas's life missing: a family to share it with. He is currently in foster care, hoping to be adopted into a permanent family.
"Right now I don't have a family, and I would really like one," Thomas said.
He wonders if his future family is reading his story right now and has adoption in mind. "I'm hoping it will happen," he said.
