SALT LAKE CITY — "Get out the vote" efforts are in high gear this final weekend before the election, and over 400 Utahns supporting Mitt Romney are getting on busses and heading to nearby swing states Friday afternoon.
Before you reach Tawna Pippen's front door, you can tell she's a Mitt Romney supporter from the lawn signs. On Friday, she joined hunderds of Utahns on a bus to Colorado, asking people to go vote — more specifically, to vote for Mitt Romney.
Tawna says it's worth her time to make the trip, saying it grants her the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people. You do find undecided voters, she says, which will have a big say in who wins the presidential election.
The Mitt Romney campaign has also set up call centers around the state for people who want to help their efforts by making calls to swing state voters.
