Three-year-old Jude was rescued last year from the pool in his neighborhood in Lehi. He had been underwater for three to five minutes.

On June 13th, the one year anniversary of Jude's rescue, his family plans to help other children by kicking off a safety campaign and fundraiser "Jump in for Jude, Tools for Pools".

The event hopes to raise awareness of the importance of training in CPR and AED use. The goal is to get AED's in those HOA pools without lifeguards on duty.

To help raise the $20,000 needed, the public is invited to attend an event on June 13th, from 5-9 p.m. The event features water safety education and public awareness on equipment and procedures that save lives. The event will be held in Cabela's south parking lot in Lehi.

The Hormans, Jude's family, hopes to help save neighbors' lives, just like a Lehi City firefighter was able to save Jude.
