IT Business Analyst
Layton based company, Real Property Management “RPM” is the leading property management franchise in the real estate industry is seeking to hire an Information Technology Business Analyst. This position is responsible for providing significant business and systems analysis efforts and improving the overall efficiency of the company. Conduct observations of business areas and work flow, gather and review requirements, design solutions and analyze the results. Serve as a senior-level requirements liaison between technology companies and business leaders to support the delivery of business and technology capabilities throughout the project life cycle.Also responsible for managing multiple IT support functions to internal department needs whereby you manage an outsourced service solution for websites, applications, hosted email, etc.

Qualifications
• Business Intelligence applications (Cognos or Business Objects a plus); extensive experience in creating the semantic (business query layer) within a BI application; strong knowledge of SQL
• Strong knowledge & experience in ETL Development, ETL applications, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL; familiarity with Data Warehousing methodology and techniques; UNIX experience; Shell scripting
• Data Modeling
• Experience / advanced knowledge of logical and physical database modeling concepts and techniques; Knowledge of database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures
• Design and create logical and physical data models and generate a ddl; Experience with Data Modeling applications such as ER Studio or ERWin
• 10+ years’ experience required in a Business or Systems Analysis role
• Strong analysis, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with business and technology stakeholders, team members and management
• Experience with business process re-engineering and business modeling concepts, tools and techniques
• Process-driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation methods
• Bachelor's degree in programming, systems or computer science (or combination of education and applicable work-related experience).
• Minimum 10 years demonstrated application development industry knowledge.
• JEE Web-centric frameworks including Spring, EJB, Seam, Tapestry, JSF, and Hibernate
• Minimum 1 year experience developing in an Apache/JEE environment.
• Object oriented design and programming techniques.
• Programming languages including Java and Javascript, as well as familiarity with XHTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills to present information in a clear and precise manner.
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
