Job Description
As a front-end developer, you would be a participant in design discussions and follow along with mock-ups being generated by the UX designer. You would represents another voice for functionality and practical execution and you'd be kept in the loop so that you can begin implementation once designs are deemed ready or complete. We'd like you (our new front-end dev) to be a champion of Web Standards and clean code and take care to notate and organize your code.
Just to reiterate, this is what we're looking for:
- You must be REALLY good and pretty darned fast at XHTML/CSS. This is what you will do with the majority of your time. We're not using much HTML5 and CSS3 right at the moment, but we will (obviously) in the near future. If you don't know that stuff, start studying.
- Our DrivingSales culture is very important to us. We're looking for team members who can work hard, be passionate about what they do and what we all do together, and play well with the rest of the team. We believe in humble, stellar service to our community members and clients.
- Experience with Javascript libraries is important; being able to write custom javascript would be really sweet.
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility is great.
DrivingSales is a small data and business intelligence company just emerging from its start-up shell (and really starting to explode)! We work in the automotive industry helping car dealers to be really good at what they do by providing tech solutions and structured learning. If you're serious about applying for a job with us, we encourage you to take a few minutes and visit some of our websites to get a feel for what we do.

Fraud Tips:
- Research the company before submitting your resume or personal information to them.
- If the company is asking you to cash checks and wire money back to them then the job is a scam.
- Listen to your instincts. Does something seem odd in the job posting or in your comminucations with the company? Is it too good to be true?
