Job Description
G. Eric Nielson & Associates is a boutique law office that has an immediate opening for a PART-TIME legal assistant/receptionist. Hours are 12:00 - 5:00 M-F. Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus but not required. Wage commensurate with experience. Duties include: Transcription work, answering multiple phone lines, filing, scanning, making travel arrangements, scheduling and other office related tasks. The right candidate must be professional in appearance, friendly, articulate, organized, dependable, self motivated and exceptionally efficient. Transcription skills are mandatory to perform this job. Must be computer savvy, experienced in Microsoft Office and WordPerfect applications and type 50+ wpm a must. Knowledge of legal/medical terminology a plus but not necessary. Must be able to prioritize projects as well as accept new urgent requests effectively. Afternoon hours are a must but there is room for flexibility.

Please see job description. However, transcription skills are an absolute must. This position requires a lot of transcription work so please only apply if you are familiar and efficient with transcription/dictation.
