Emere Healthcare, with corporate offices located in Bountiful, Utah, has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for an experienced Assistant Controller to join our management team. We are a privately held rapidly growing national company which strives to provide outstanding nonsurgical orthopedic and regenerative medical treatments to patients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for all the day to day accounting functions of the company • Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and timely monthly financial statements • Manage a small staff of accounting and administrative support personnel; verify and submit payroll data for contracted payroll preparation; cash management and accounts payable oversight • Provide financial and operational analysis as needed by the management team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required • CPA preferred • Five years of accounting experience including some supervisory experience required • Strong knowledge of all facets of operational accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general ledger • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with excellent computer skills ; knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise a plus • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple activities at one time
