We are the #1 assisted living home for elderly in Utah! Our elderly residents are great to work with. Though the job can be busy at times, it is generally a low-stress job that can be done at a comfortable pace. We have 3 live-in care takers who live on-site in our Luxury home in Draper (217 East Scenic Peak Cv, Draper Utah 84020), and each have their own dorm room. We are looking to fill one of those positions. While it is EXTREMELY encouraged to live on site, we are willing to consider someone who is just there during their shift. COMPENSATION (all expenses paid): • You make $100/day (approx. 10 days a month) • Free Rent, Private Room • Free Chef prepared Food 24/7 • Free Utilities (water, sewer, trash, gas, electric, phone, fax) • Free Net Flicks • Free Dish TV • Free Use of Computer/Printer (within reason) • Free Internet
• You work approx. 10 days a month from Noon to 7am (19-hour shift). • You never work from 7am to Noon to allow for the ability to go to school (if you are in school). • Your 19 hour shift will consist of about 8-10 hours of work, and "On-Call" the rest of the time, but must remain on site. You are allowed to sleep during the night time part of your shift (though you need to make checks on residents a few times though out the night & at 3am. • There are about 8 to 16 residents at any given time that you provide a wide range of care for. Some of the residents you will be bathing and assisting to change Depends (diapers), while others just need a little help on miscellaneous things. • The 3 live-in CNA's trade off on covering shifts. Generally, you work 2 days on, and then 4 days off, or as may be arranged between the 3 CNA's. • You will LOVE this job! Check us out at: www.assistedlivingofutah.com
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (though experience is appreciated!) You will be required to obtain your CNA license if you do not have one. It can take 2 to 8 weeks to get it, and can be done while employed. It generally costs about $500. If you do not have your CNA license, we are willing to pay for it upfront, with a prorated reimbursement if you quit within the first year.
