The Electrical Technician will provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair of the electrical components for all process and packaging equipment with as minimal of downtime as possible. Will perform electrical preventive maintenance on all equipment as required. Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, lead electricians, other peers to become familiar with electrical maintenance procedures and processes for all equipment supported by this position.
Ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed Provide customer service to other associates by way of trouble-shooting electrical issues. Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Management team. Must have experience working with 3 phase motors and controls. Basic working exposure to PLC. (Inputs, outputs, and logic). Basic computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office, Internet, and email. Experience with drawing and basic prints; knowledge of electrical schematics and line to line diagrams. Must have experience in reading prints and troubleshooting circuitry problems.
Have the ability to communicate well with others, both verbally and written. Must be customer service oriented Must be able to work independently or in a team environment
