    Job Description

    Yugster is an online retailer of fun and useful products. We sell everything from electronics like smartphones, computers, and TV’s, to personal and household items like sheets, towels and kitchen products. Our open position is for a Full Time or Part Time chat and email based Customer Service Professional. The ideal candidate will have experience answering customer questions through chat and an online ticket submission system. This customer service professional will work as part of a team, and will report to the customer service manager.

    Responsibilities

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Investigate customer problems and find solutions. • Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat. • Create scripts to answer recurring issues. • Resolve order placement, shipping and product issues. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Keep abreast of new company policies and services. • Oversee product returns, testing, and relisting • Track recurring issues. • Compile and print reports. • Isolate and identify areas for potential improvement. • Work with management on customer service initiatives. • Ensure performance meets or exceeds metrics that are required.

    Qualifications

    1. A minimum of 2-3 years experience working with customer service issues for a retail or online store. 2. A minimum of 1-2 years experience answering customer service questions through either email, online helpdesk or chat 3. Experience working in an ecommerce field, preferably with either buyers or sellers of ecommerce goods. 4. Proven ability to handle large workloads and work independently, as well as within a team environment, 5. Ability to be flexible and take on new responsibilities as required EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent degree (GED, HSED required). Bachelor's degree in a business related field is preferred. Two or more years of stable work history in customer service, or relevant work experience is required. An even temperament, ability to empathize with customer viewpoint and knowledge of managing interactions for positive outcomes with customer service issues is a must.
