Utah Youth Village, a non-profit charity, is excited to announce that they are taking applications for live-in couples to work in a family-style group home. There are two full-time positions for married couples to live in the group home and provide care and treatment for troubled youth ages 5-13. Starting minimum annual salary is $52,000 per couple with the potential for increases based on experience and/or education. Additionally, annual raises and bonuses/incentives based on job performance are also available. Basic living expenses are also covered. Health and dental insurance is available as is a retirement plan.
The couple will be expected to act as trained professional parents in providing a safe and positive environment for youth while providing treatment. Other responsibilities include maintaining the home and property, attending meetings and training, coordinating with the youth's families, schools and other consumers, and to supervise associates that work in the home as well.
We are looking for a couple that is able to work together and take responsibility for the home and youth. It is important that the couple has the ability to work effectively with others, communicate, problem solve and be organized. Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Applicants must be married a minimum of 1 year. No children unless they are over the age of 14. Applicants should be physically and mentally able to work in a high stress environment. A degree in the field is helpful, but not required.
