Partnering with physician recruiters who locate qualified physicians, territory managers who understand the staffing needs of healthcare facilities in a given state, licensing and credentials verification specialists, and sharp support staff, they are responsible for matching the qualifications and interests of physicians with the clinical needs of an open position. At Advantage Locums our Account Managers have a dual role and are also responsible for building our pool of physician and mid-level professional candidates. Through the use of the telephone and internet the Account Manager will qualify, recruit, screen, and help place physicians in short-term, long-term, and permanent practice opportunities across the United States. If you place one of your providers in one of your jobs you can earn 1.5 X the commission! The job will make the most of your collaboration, leadership, and communication skills; your attention to detail; your computer savvy; and your very strong phone-based sales and negotiation skills. Experience requires a successful demonstration of the following:  STRONG WORK ETHIC AND A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.  Strong organizational skills and flexibility, with the ability to set goals and review them regularly to produce immediate and consistent sales results in a primarily phone-based selling situation.  Ability to close sales while upholding quality standards, conducting rate and contract negotiations, and leading team-based critical thinking and problem solving.  Ability to use a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures, and the ability to coordinate sales activities from conceptualization, to planning, to successful execution.  Ability to understand financial and budget information, and to operate within these parameters.  Ability to provide quality services to physicians and clients, and engage them in positive ways.  Willingness to expand working knowledge of the locum tenens business and stay informed about market and competitive issues through research and professional networking.  Ability to utilize office systems and computer programs to provide effective service to clients and colleagues.  Ability to manage stress effectively.  Ability to develop and maintain effective communication with everyone during the performance of job responsibilities. Strong writing and presentation skills and a good grasp of new technology and its potential for enhancing connectivity/relationships with physicians and clients. Physical Demands: o Substantial physical movement (motion) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. o Ability to receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively required.

    Salary/Wage- Based on experience: $33,800 - $39,000 per year (paid weekly) plus commission, .75% of Revenue Account Management, 1.5% of Revenue Recruiting, 7% of Permanent Placement Fees
