    Job Description

    Immediate Opening: Full time (w/benefits) in our Production Department. Work hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Excellent benefits, including Health, Dental, Life insurance, and 401K. Company Description: Motion Control, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of robotic artificial arms used by amputee wearers. These ‘Myo-Electric Prosthetic’ devices are manufactured in Salt Lake City, and are sold throughout the world. Motion Control, Inc. was established as a company in 1981, and is a stable and competitive Equal Opportunity employer. Job Description: Assembly and testing of electronic and mechanical assemblies spanning the entire range of Motion Control Inc.’s product line, from battery construction and injection molding, to cable wiring and printed circuit board assembly. Testing includes the use of DVMs to test lower level assemblies. This person is responsible for the quality of work, cosmetic appearance, and functional acceptability of the assemblies he/she produces. Qualifications: The successful applicant will have former experience or formal training, and possess the skills necessary to function as a part of our production team. Previous soldering experience is required. Familiarity with assembly drawings and simple schematics is also required. Must be able to use hand tools for mechanical assembly. Basic computer skills are an asset, but are not required. This person must have a willingness to learn and be cross-trained into areas of higher complexity.
