    Job Description

    This Inside Sales Rep is an integral part of the Digi Sales’ revenue strategy and participates in the identification and qualification of sales opportunities and the assignment of accounts to appropriate sales personnel. This position is responsible for outbound & inbound telesales activity and is accountable for developing and supporting revenue growth in assigned territories by identifying/closing new business, managing existing business and enhancing sales. Each Inside Sales Rep is assigned a territory and teamed with an Account Manager(s).

    Responsibilities

    Key Job Responsibilities: •Thrive in exciting, fast paced environment managing multiple ongoing activities •Develop strategic relations with prospective Customers, assess needs and deploy appropriate resources to win product and solution designs •Guide customers through the design, proto-type and production of specialized solutions that will best fit their needs •Lead channel resources with joint sales activity in support of new designs and fulfillment •Identify and develop custom products that fit the customer ability to operate efficiently •Participate in team calls and meetings to stay up to date on team and Digi Sales, marketing and business development activity •Maintain up to date knowledge on company’s products, services and technology trends and how they relate to the market space

    Qualifications

    Primary Job Requirements: •3-6 years inside sales experience with 1-3 years of selling with embedded technology desired •Experience in presenting complex sales solutions for prospect clients and successfully communicating value statements and benefits to different organizational stakeholders •Demonstrates an infectious and relentless passion to gain acceptance of new ideas/concepts •Strong project management and opportunity development skills •Ability to work with peers and partners located throughout the US •General experience in remote device monitoring, M2M, embedded solutions, RF radios (ZigBee a plus)
