    Job Description

    Start 2014 with a new career! We are hiring immediately for our Customer Service department. This position is perfect for those that LOVE to give TOP NOTCH service. Our Customer Service Acquisition representatives will take primarily inbound Acquisition calls and be able able to answer customer inquiries about new accounts and make offers when appropriate. In this role you will have to be compliant with the Federal Fair Credit Billing Act along with Discovers Customer Service policies and procedures. All of our Customer Service representatives will use their Friendly, Helpful, and Refreshing personalities to create an excellent customer service experience for each of our cardmembers.This could be on the phone or in person. Some of our best employees came to us from industries like the Restaurant business, the Hotel industry or Retail. This position would also qualify for the Discover benefits package. Our benefits include available Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401k and ESPP. Our Benefits start DAY ONE of your employment!

    Requirements

    Customer Service Acquisition candidates must possess the following: ?Outstanding customer engagement skills. ?Excellent communication, negotiation, active listening, and complex problem solving skills. ?Must provide excellent customer service to create memorable experiences. ?Ability to work in a fast paced, goal oriented environment while ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures. ?High level of enthusiasm and professionalism. ?Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. ?Must be willing to learn and promote card usage to our customers. ?Ability to effectively work in a team environment, and demonstrated proficiency with computer systems and equipment. Please note this position is scheduled to start January 6th, 2014 with a three (3) week paid training program where your attendance is mandatory. Additionally, schedules include working weekends and holidays
