We are a small growing accounting/bookkeeping office for fast food franchisee clients in Utah, California and Washington located in South Ogden Utah. We are looking for an experienced full-time payroll clerk to assist with payroll processing and reporting on behalf of our clients 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Relocation costs may be covered.
Responsibilities: Verify employment eligibility and proper paperwork is completed Enter new employees into payroll system Set up deductions and garnishments in payroll system Enter and Run bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls using ADP Create payroll journal entries into QuickBooks Maintain employee filing system Update excel spreadsheets, notes and procedures Answer employee inquiries and work with store and regional managers on resolution as required Generate system and ad hoc reports required Other various payroll and office functions Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 2 years experience with Payroll Processing including Garnishments Ability to prepare, maintain and understand payroll processes and submit in a timely manner Proficient with QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing Problem solving and conflict resolution skills Multitasking, strong work ethic, and ability to work self directed Maintain complete confidentiality
