As the Corporate Events Recognition Coordinator you will be responsible for planning and organizing leadership related events and/or meetings. You will be responsible for operational, implementation and post-event activities for Regional Trainings, Corporate Fly-In?s, Weekly Trainings, Road To Diamond, Diamond Retreat, Annual Kick-Off, Annual Anniversary Trainings as well as our annual International Convention as well as any other events that are instituted. You will be responsible for assisting in the recognition area of events as well as monthly recognititon. Responsibilities -Pre-event, onsite communication and post event debriefing sessions -Establish staff schedules, task assignments, equipment allocation to ensure conformance with department objectives and goals and successfully execute all aspects of the event on the scheduled delivery date. - Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations. -Negotiate agreements with outside providers and subcontractors to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service. - Source venues, recommend and engage catering, acquire supporting technology and coordinate development of materials to execute a quality event. - Maintain a calendar of events and implement a system that enables and anticipates long-term planning and effective event management for the organization events. - Develop policies and standard operating procedures for events which can be duplicated on multiple levels. - Work closely with field leaders, other departments, committees and communications staff to effectively lead company messaging into promoter events to target audiences and obtain accurate event specifications. - Collaborate with staff to develop brand, marketing labels and communication tools for events as required - Identify all aspects of event risk assessment and crisis management planning strategies to ensure that it complies with the local and national safety regulations - Supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of personnel, subcontractors and vendors as required to successfully execute all aspects of the event on the scheduled delivery day. - Ensure speakers are briefed and prepared to provide effective presentations and materials. -Provide post-event analysis, budget recaps and participant feedback and incorporate learning into future plans.

Qualifications University degree or college diploma in business, marketing or related field. - 2+ years experience in event planning and logistics management or related field is preferred which results in directing complex projects from conception to fully operational status - Expertise working with corporate clients in diverse corporate cultures in the design, development, and management of global destination meetings, incentives and special events is preferred. - Ability to manage multiple projects over an entire project life-cycle working with cross-functional departments, management and executives that gain efficiencies. - Proven negotiation skills with hotels, entertainers and other event vendors - Ability to develop professional relationships in all aspects of the position that result in stable, consistent, reliable and courteous communication when dealing with other entities. - Ability to problem-solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines - Excellent organization, communication, planning and project management skills. - Proven ability to take direction and input and to develop effective and engaging branded events that will achieve goals. - Occasional weekends and travel required. -The person should have the ability to make sound decisions fast and work in a high paced, high pressure environment - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds - Ability to perform at a high functioning level under pressure and maintain a good attitude - Skilled in Word, Excel, Keynote, Gmail Adobe Acrobat preferred.
