I am looking for somebody who can act as a real estate assistant/showing agent for my properties. Nearly all of the properties are in Central Ogden but I have a few in Davis County and I may buy in other counties soon too. I specialize in providing housing in lower income areas of these cities. I am willing to pay an hourly rate and also will provide a bonus for helping to get my places rented. I expect that most weeks there will be less than 10 hours of work but some weeks it may be 50 hours depending on what is needed. I need someone who can help fill out lease agreements, help with book keeping, rent collections, cleaning vacant units, notice delivery and eventually help with coordination of maintenance. The hours will be variable depending on occupancy status but eventually it could be full time as we purchase more properties (we are buying on average 5-6 per year).
This is a contract position.
Relocation costs may be covered.
The ideal candidate would be somebody who has sales or real estate experience and the ability to problem solve. You will need to become familiar with rental law and must be a natural sales person. You must have a flexible schedule and be willing to do showings without much notice. Somebody who has had experience with their own properties or who would like to become involved in real estate investing would be ideal.
