Shift: Swing (evening) This is a full time position that is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and flexible spending benefits. Position Overview: Under general supervision, perform cGMP laboratory analyses of raw materials, and finished goods supplied by clients. Perform maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments. Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization???s policies, procedures, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 guidelines, state, federal and local laws and safety regulations. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate general analytical instruments for required testing by using ICP-MS, DMA, UPLC, HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, UV-VIS, FTIR, pH meter, automatic titrators, and viscometers. Label, document and record all testing and maintenance activities as required by laboratory SOPs. Perform peer review of the analytical work to ensure accuracy and completeness of results. Participate in OOS investigations, troubleshooting of test methods, and lab instruments. Participate in proficiency testing programs set up by the laboratory quality assurance group. Perform analyses in support of method transfers, method development projects, method validations and comparisons. Train new hires if need arises. Clean, and maintains the laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with cGMPs and GLPs. Who is GNL? Qualifications: One to three years of related laboratory experience, or a combination of education and experience. Knowledge of cGMPs, GLPs, FDA, USP, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 regulations and guidelines. Knowledge of ICP-MS, UPLC, HPLC, FTIR, UV/VIS and related instrument operation, and techniques, Microsoft Office and Outlook, Waters Empower software applications. Skilled in performing tests accurately and precisely. Communicating clearly verbally and in writing. Proactively identifying problems and presenting solutions. Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects of high priority. Ability to manage time to maximize performance and throughput, provide project status to management and complete projects by the deadline. Establish and maintain respectful and synergistic working relationships with coworkers. Education: Bachelor???s Degree in Chemistry or related science field from an accredited college or university.
