Sentinel Security Life Insurance Company (in business for over 60 years) is seeking a Policy Services Customer Service Clerk to answer calls from policy holders and agents, process annuity and life insurance paperwork and work with a great team of people.
Relocation costs may be covered.
Insurance industry/financial products background VERY helpful in addition to being able to perform the following duties: Communicates clearly and professionally with the customer by telephone and/or written correspondence. Enters verbal and written application information that meets both internal and external customer requirements accurately into the system. Participates in and maintains a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team. Supports the organization's quality program(s). Searches company records to obtain information requested by customer. Estimates loan or cash value of policy for policyholders. Interprets policy provisions to determine methods of effecting desired changes such as change of beneficiary or type of insurance, or change in method of payment. Mails or gives out specified forms and routes completed forms to various units for processing. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and/or Experience: Associates Degree (or some college) in business related field preferred or equivalent training or a minimum of 1 year related work experience.
