    Job Description

We're still looking. Check this out if you like new ideas and like to teach. We???re losing one teacher to marriage and relocation and another to her varsity basketball team. This is a great job for anyone who doesn???t need full time but would also like the opportunity for a larger income than our hourly wages provide. (College students, etc.) Our teachers work in our teaching studio and are part of a team teaching group (3 teachers) who can work with our MusicMaster??? Series for Piano and/or our MiniMaster??? Early Childhood Music Program. The teaching responsibilities depend on an Intermediate piano player who is willing to train to use our proprietary and very effective curriculum. The administrative duties are varied: learning to typeset music, learning our sophisticated publishing software or our music transcription software, some scheduling and also support for our marketing groups who work outside of our offices. You will also help us publish a newsletter and a blog. You do need to be available on Monday through Thursday (at a minimum) from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Additional hours can be negotiated. We are non-smoking and our staff presents themselves well to our 70+ students, their families and others. If you are available for work or a change, contact me at and I will immediately send you additional information about our program. The process will quickly lead to an interview so you can see our studio, let us demonstrate our program and answer your questions. Our compensation starts at $10.00 or $12.00 per hour based on experience with additional increases as you need less training. I would like to receive (1) a cover letter describing why you would like this job and (2) a resume of any work experience that you have had. (We do have a PR/marketing function that someone could do from home.)
