DropShip Commerce DropShip is seeking a Technical Support Engineer. Projects are centered on manipulating data between different formats for use within product catalogs, inventory management and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years of experience with interacting with customers on solving issues or answering questions on a technical level. It would be beneficial, but not required, for the candidate to have programming, website development or server/network administration experience.
Relocation costs may be covered.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities: ??? Develop a deep understanding of the DropShip Commerce platform and how clients and trading partners can utilize the platform to automate product, inventory and order processing for drop- ship eCommerce ??? Assist the sales and onboarding teams by providing technical support to clients and trading partners via email and telephone ??? Educate clients and trading partners over the phone or email on the use of the DropShip Commerce platform and features ??? Accurately record customers' technical issues and work closely with the product team to rectify any problems ??? Verify and report bugs to the engineering department and assist in testing any and all product updates or releases The most important criteria for joining our team are: ??? Strong written and verbal communication skills ??? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions ??? Ability to analyze customer needs and develop working solutions based on the capabilities of the DropShip Commerce platform and communicate solutions effectively ??? IT and/or programming experience is very helpful ??? Working knowledge of web server technologies ??? Working knowledge of different file formats and technologies, including: CSV TAB TXT XML EDI ODBC/JDBC ?? PDF Word Excel API Web Services ?? FTP
