As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for planning assortments of licensed sports products for our stores while operating within open-to-buy limits. You will be accountable for the profitability of the product lines you manage. You will work to create or source products that will differentiate us from our competition. Product managers are responsible to make tactical and strategic merchandising and marketing decisions as they manage product life cycles. You will work closely with our vendors to build effective relationships, negotiate costs, and identify new products. You will be expected to create and articulate your vision and strategy for your product lines to management and to meet stated goals. Other responsibilities include educating store personnel on product features, collaborating with our Market Analysts and Regional Managers to improve sales and margins, working with our marketing personnel to develop promotions to enhance sales of your product lines, and attending trade shows.

-Bachelor???s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or a related field -Previous retail experience preferred -Ability to make well thought out decisions in a timely manner -Strong design and creative thought processes -Organizational skills, including attention to details and meeting deadlines -Effective written and verbal communication skills -Strong analytical skills -Availability to travel -Working knowledge of professional and collegiate sports teams and players -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
