    Job Description

    As an Emergency Medical Dispatcher at Rescue Alert you will process inbound emergency and non-emergency alarm signals from customers all over the country. On a normal day you will process hundreds of alarms and dispatch paramedics, family members, neighbors, etc. and follow-up on those alarms to verify proper help was sent and received by the customer. There is room for growth within the company. We will send you to the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch to get your Emergency Medical Dispatch certification, and then you become eligible for promotions to senior dispatcher I and II or supervisor. ** Until you have seniority you might be scheduled to work every Saturday, Sunday and holiday.** Applicants must be flexible with scheduling, since this is a 24 hour operation. If hired, your hours will vary but not include graveyard shift. Rescue Alert offers shift differentials for nights and weekends and holidays are double and a half. Rescue Alert offers health, dental and vision and pays 60% of the premium along with other benefits.

    Relocation costs may be covered.

    Requirements

    -18 Years Old -Type 40 WPM+ -Speak English -Pass Background Check & Drug Test -Ability to stay calm in stressful situations -Must be available for a 2 hour job interview process. -Must pass Rescue Alert's in house training -Must be able to pass EMD certification courses -Bilingual (Spanish or Russian)is always a plus but not required.
