Mark Miller Subaru is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, enthusiastic service advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor is a performance-based position that is essential to Mark Miller Subaru. The main task of the Service Advisor is to assist clients in making informed decisions regarding repairing and purchasing additional associated services for their vehicles. The Service Advisors first responsibility is to ensure our customers are treated with respect in a fair and ethical manner.

QUALIFICATIONS: -Automotive Dealership Experience at least 2 years -Team player -Excellent Organizational Skills -Customer service oriented -Good Driving Record -Able to pass background check and drug test -Basic knowledge and understanding of automobiles -Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs -Able to bend, stoop and work overhead -Safety conscience -Good vision close up and at a distance -Detail oriented -Mechanically inclined -Self-motivated and reliable -Good communication skills and outgoing with customers -Capable of reading and writing well -Ability to teach and motivate others to achieve sales goals -Must be able to operate equipment such as (but not limited to) computer, telephone, hoist, OBD code scanner -Must be able to drive all types of vehicles, manual and automatic transmissions -Must be able to stand on concrete or metal surfaces for extended periods of time (typically longer than 8 hours) BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Complete all required Subaru Service Advisor certification -Maintain clean and safe work environment including using all safety equipment and following all safety procedures -Greet all guests within 5 feet, in a professional, pleasant manner -Answer telephones professionally and with positively -Collect and input guest information name, address, phone numbers, including email address into the computer -Input accurate vehicle information -Review guest requests and all pertinent information -Road test vehicle with customer to verify drivability or noise concerns if needed -Review guests requested services, provide a preliminary estimate of expenses for the service and answer any questions BENEFITS: -Paid training -Starting pay between -Potential to move up in the organization -401K matching program -Paid Holidays -Health and Dental Insurance -Paid vacation
