We are looking for a PART TIME veterinary receptionist for a busy veterinary clinic. The Receptionist's responsibility is to provide excellent client service while maintaining a smooth and efficient flow of clients and patients through the hospital. The receptionist is responsible to meet and greet clients, determine the needs of the patients, and educate the clients on patient healthcare as directed by the doctor. The receptionist reports to the Hospital Manger.

*Basic knowledge of Veterinary Practices and products *Experience with Avimark *Excellent customer service *Excellent telephone etiquette *Ability to accurately file patient charts *Knowledge of basic math *Excellent oral and written communication skills *Ability to answer multiple phone lines *Ability to multi task *Ability to follow direction *Ability to assist emotional and/or grieving clients *Ability to confirm appointments and prepare medical charts according to protocol *Ability to balance cash drawer at the end of the day *Professionalism *Maintains professional appearance *Flexibility *Available to work Saturdays *Willingness to maintain a clean environment *Able to work with others as part of a team **Must pass a pre employment drug test and background check.
