Share your education talents with millions of elementary students by helping us improve publications that are used in more than 15,000 public and private elementary schools nationwide. We are in need of another experienced classroom teacher with minimum experience of 3 school years in intermediate grades for a leadership position in our company; must have strong media skills; expertise in Bloom's Taxonomy/Webb's Depth of Knowledge; nearly perfect written and oral communication skills, including strong large-group presentation skills; highly creative with a passion for making a difference in elementary education. Primary duties will include identifying needs for primary source media that match the topics of Studies Weekly publications, working with Studies Weekly in-house researchers, and writing multi-level Document Based Questions (DBQ) for primary source media; helping vet and edit teacher blogs. The successful candidate will also be willing to travel throughout the country to give in-service training. Travel could be as much as 2-3 days per week for 2-3 weeks during back-to-school time. Studies Weekly publications are used in nearly 20 percent of schools nationwide. The company is expanding the online version of more than 70 unique social studies and science publications and we are in need of the right educator to head up our new Related Media Division.
